Yes, Gojira and other Death Metal bands. You'll also find a lot of stupidass Metalcore bands that do their best to imitate that sound.

Also, you may want to learn more about Black Metal. Black Metal, as a general rule, NEVER uses breakdowns.

And yeah I've heard plently of death/metalcore bands that sound like this, I wanted good songs though. I only know of a handfull of songs that have riffs like this, wanted to broaden my musical horizon to bands that I hadn't heard of.

I wasn't saying that that was black metal, at all, I just wanted stuff that sounded like it, like this

Um...also, maybe try some Acacia Strain. The Agonist (melodic death metal) often uses breakdowns tastefully. BTBAM obviously. A fair amount of true hardocre bands. Shadows Fall.

I can't really recommend more. I basically just went through my iTunes music to find those.
