Audio Technica Wireless Systems

Do you guys know anything about them? The music store I work at sells them exclusively and I can get one for way cheaper than what they actually sell them in the store for. So far I'm looking at the 2000 series and the System 10. Normally they both sell for about $300 but my manager is telling me I can get it for about $200 and some change. I've been reading on UG about wireless systems and it seems that the Line6 G50 is the obvious favorite, but the $400 price tag is pretty steep. Especially considering that there's a possibility that I can pay half of that.

So are they any good? Any tone loss at all or other technical things that I should know about?

I think the reason that the line 6 units are so good is because they're digital and it's nearly impossibly to get interference with them, not the case with UHF. try it out in a room with florescent lights and tv's and stuff, take it back if it's no good.

Apparently the Series 10 is digital which I'm pretty stoked on. My manager actually said he'd let me borrow his 2000 series to see if I liked it.

This is actually something I'm interested in too. I've been looking and am almost sure i'm going to get a Shure PGXD system for my guitar.

It just seems like digital is the way to go for no interference.

Oh.

Well I would say just make sure the build quality of the transmitter and receiver is high (ie metal) and that the cable is replacable and long enough. Good luck, wireless IS the shit!
