Silversun Pickups

I heard Lazy Eye on the radio and it was a pretty good tune. I downloaded their songs and I really like them. I especially like All the Go Inbetweens, Three Seed, and Kissing Families. I wanted to know if anyone else loves this band.

I love them man! They need to come back to the UK for a mini-tour or something, cos I really enjoyed seeing them last time round. They've got a cool shoegaze feel to them, they've got a really cool sound. Kind of like a faster My Bloody Valentine I think.

im not one to critisize people for theior vocals, but in this bands case i cant stand them, the lead singer is a guy but sounds no where near male vocals, its good if it were a femal but i jut cant stand it, when i watch their videos , i cant stand it, also im not that much into their music at all, to happy sounding for my taste, no disrespect to people who like them though its all musical taste

I don't know what it is but I love it. I don't usually listen to Indie or Alternative, I usually listen to Classic Rock but there's something about them that I love.

Great band.

Future Foe Scenarios is my favorite by them I think.

yeh, they do slightly have a similar sound to SP in some songs but i remember hearing a Sonic Youth feel to them too.

they're damn good tho.

the word 'pwn' was invented for 'lazy eye' and 'kissing families.'

I dont know about that... I always thought that some of the songs on Carnavas were pretty dark. Take Future Foe or Three Seed for example... some pretty dark stuff if you listen to the lyrics. But yeah, as you said, everyone's got their tastes

They played at a concert I went to (with Silverchair, The Shins, and Modest Mouse) and they sucked very bad. Havent checked out much of their recorded stuff, maybe that's better.

One of my all time favorite bands.

"Kissing Families", "Three Seed", "Future Foe Scenarios", "Melatonin" and "Common Reactor" are my most favorite songs, but all of them are pretty amazing.

Also, people have to remember the bassist is female, and she DOES have some singing roles in some songs, not to mention slight duets with Brian, like in Kissing Families.

So if some songs sound like a female voice, it may be Nikki singing with Brian.
