Talking New Metalcore Tune - *no vocals*

Hi Guys!

Here is a new tune i have been working on during my free time!

iv started using revalver for guitars, this is the best tone iv managed so far.

Let me know what you think?

Im trying to learn as much as possible about what works and doesn't work within a mix so if you wouldnt mind letting me know some of the things that i could do better next time? that would be great!

im pretty much a noob here but if theres anything you want me to check out, feel free to hit me up!

https://soundcloud.com/anthony-wiseman/new-tune-9-1-13

thanks for you help!

Hey man!

Track sounds awesome.. Awesome guitar work.. Solid structured song. Reminds of the band This or the apocalypse. Love the breakdown @ 1:10. Overall the mix sounds pretty decent, the kick drum sounds a little low but my monitors are junk so it's probably fine. I think your guitar tone sounds awesome. Good job dude!

If you have time give my track a listen, i'd love to hear some input! Thanks

Metalcore without vocals is like poop without food scraps.

Anyways, this thing sounds cool. I love the guitar sound.

i like the guitar work on this song but i feel like the guitars are too prominent. the riffs and tone are good its just hard to hear the other instruments. the drums sound almost muffled to me, so maybe try to bring them out a bit.
Also give this or the apocalypse a listen! i played a show with them a few weeks ago and they are awesome guys for sure!
if you want to give my song a listen it would be greatly appreciated. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...78#post30864778

I find the riff a little... ADD if you see what I mean? It kinda just is there, wiggles around a bit, which is cool and all I guess, and then does it again but it just doesn't feel like there's any reason for it. It's not something I can really put into words I'm afraid.

The one big issue is that when the second guitar part comes in the mix goes to hell and I have no idea what's going on anymore.
