That actually looks pretty neat, I'm glad they're not doing another top-down 2D game. It's a step in the right direction. Plus they modeled a pokermon off a Fennec Fox, the cutest animal ever besides maybe red pandas.

I keep having to remind myself this game is geared towards kids and thats why the new pokemon always look so shit


Probably gonna just get an emulator and play gold, that's where it's at yo

I know that UG is full of old gen lovers, and I also prefer the older generations, but have you tried HeartGold/SoulSilver? They're pretty good.

Maybe we're hating too much because we are not kids anymore?

That being said, at least is a new direction but I doubt is gonna be good, the series got repetitive for me after about the 3rd gen.

Actually, I woulnd't be contrary to a new pokemon ruby version with the pokemon following you

Without the fascination I had with Pokemanz as a child, the game becomes pretty gosh-darn tedious. It's 90% grind, accomplished through choosing options from a menu. Where's the action?

Sure, the graphics are new, but the game mechanics are the same.
