Best Discography
What is your favorite 1 band discography in its entirety ?
I mean, if you had to get a complete discography and stick with it, what would it be? I think I would go for Blink 182's

Foo Fighters, there isn't a single album I don't like.

Either Guns N Roses or Bon Jovi for me. They have enough songs so I wouldn't get bored of them all, and a fair bit of variation too. Plus I love both of them so yeah

I think RATM discography is pretty solid, but it's only like 3 albums...

For me, it would definitely be Coheed & Cambria's discography. All of their albums are part of the same amazing concept.

Thrice.
Hardcore punk to rise against style punk, to the best Post Hardcore album, to really progressive stuff, to even electronica. Never get bored of hearing them.

I'm going to get hell for this... But I think Chinese Democracy is their strongest release since Appetite. Their style has changed completely, and it's no longer the straight up rock that it was for AFD, or the mixture of UYI 1&2 but once I gave the album the time to grow on me, I found I liked the songs a lot more than I thought I would. Plus I've heard the songs in a live setting twice so I have that aspect of it too. It's by no means a flawless record, but it's an incredibly strong one |

Fair enough. You argued your opinion well. Personally I'd choose Trivium, Alter Bridge or Foo Fighters.

Probably. I've listened to all of his albums countless times, and I've never gotten tired of them. Plus, 4 studio albums. Not to mention 2 (20+ song) compilations of b sides, and unreleased songs. That's a ton of music to work with. Not to mention you could technically count his work with Million Dead, which expands things even more. Plus there's a new album out this year, so even more!

The Gaslight Anthem
The Beatles, I like some albums a lot more than others though. Thin Lizzy haven't made an album that I'd say was bad. |
