I'm seriously at the verge of being done looking for people to be in a band with. Everyone's into the same type of shit. It would be easier to record everything myself and I'll probably end up doing so.

Yeah... Hard to find people with similar variety of preferences and such.

There would be no chance i'd be able to convince some people into playing Ska-Punk, Folk-punk etc. And the ones that would wouldn't do the other stuff i'd like to try and so on.

I play folk inspired punk and love the sound of ska punk even though I don't listen to it that much anymore. I probably don't live anywhere near ya though.

Sorry for the shameless plug, but if you go to my bandcamp in my sig, the first song that ques up is some slow whiteboy reggae type stuff, and the rest is all folk inspired punky stuff. Free to listen to all the whole songs, no 30-sec preview crap. The song Thylacine in my link is an acoustic hyped-up folky song along the same lines. /Shameful, disgustingly commercial plug.

I can't really call them 'band' experiences, but until sometime in 2011 (when I joined my current band) every time me and my friends decided to start a *insert sub genre of metal we most into at that point* band it'd always end up in us just hanging out and playing games without picking up our instruments....the next day we'd be like '**** yeah I thought of this awesome idea for a song/band name/logo' as if what we'd accomplished the day before (Sweet feck all) had actually been productive and inspired us.

I agree. I've been jamming with one of my friends more recently and we actually wrote a song. After playing it, I could tell that we clicked. There was a feeling of excitement that we had created something good that I never felt with the other "band".

My last band was doing really good. Had an EP out that was well liked and people seemed to like our material at shows. But with the growing amount of poopy show (bad venues, playing with bands that didn't fit our genre etc) and my band mates were offered openings in other bands, we broke up.

I'm the only member of that band that still isn't in a new band. Feels bad man.

That's all I got. Still upset about it because we really had something going.
