Those riffs that drive you mad.

I know this thread has probably been done a thousand and one times, but I still wanna do it, just 'cause.

And I'm bored.

So, Pit, what are those riffs that give you an adrenaline burst?

I'll start:

The riff in Blood And Thunder, the one before the "split your lungs with blood and thunder" bit.

The final riff in Undertow by Tool.

The riff to A Certain Shade of Green by Incubus. It will always be one of my favourites.

The breakdown riff in "Bullet in The Head" by Rage Against The Machine.

Awake by Godsmack

Them Bones by Alice In Chains.

Go.

Both of these, and on the subject of Mastodon - the drums right at the beginning of Iron Tusk.

But seriously though,

Meshuggah - Rational Gaze live intro from the Alive DVD in Tokyo. I literally can not listen to it and NOT headbang.

Textures - Awake, the bridge. Saw them live two times and I just went apeshit.

I think he was talking about White Walls- BTBAM. Maybe I'm wrong. Either song, it's a damn good riff.

Edit: Crack the Skye- Verse riff.

Forgot about that. I love the psychedelic kind of delay bit that that comes after the first intro.
