1994 Fender Stratocaster: USA or Japan Made?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to sell my buddy's 1994 Fender Stratocaster but I can't tell whether it was made in the US or Japan. When I look up the serial number (N401096) it says that US Fenders in '94 had serial numbers starting with N4 while Japanese Fenders had serial numbers starting with N. I will attach some links for pictures and thank you for looking.

American. Japanese serial numbers are printed on the heel of the neck. You could probably land $550-$700 for it. Most go for $600ish.

Yeah. Also if you need more assurance then you can try to search at http://www.guitardaterproject.org/fender.aspx
The serial is valid only for a US made.
