MG100HDFX Fan removal?
The fan in the head's pretty annoying.

The newer models don't have the fan, so i don't think the HDFX will overheat, but I'm not sure.

Anyone remove the tiny annoying fan in their amp yet?

i wouldnt remove the fan...its there fr a reason the newer models probably have better ventilation or the newer parts dont create as much heat

having said that i cant stop yoyu from doing what you want

Turn the fan up, it'll probably produce a more pleasant distortion than the MG.
