My Exploud destroys anything and everything.

I EV trained the crap out of it back in Ruby, and I still use it as one of my main in Black 2.

Not to mention it gets loud, like what I want my amps to do.

Nostalgia-wise, Charizard, all day every day.

Kadabra.

That special attack score is hard to beat for a non-legendary pokemon and I rarely ever got the opportunity to trade it into an Alakazam. Besides, more evolved pokemon learn moves slower.

Actually, it's hard to say. There's a few I really liked.

Without mentioning legendaries:
Salamence (powerful as all ****)
Metagross (technically legendary I guess)
Skarmory (nice combo of types, great defensive pokemon. Breed it to have drill peck!)

Can't think of anyone else, it's been awhile. Played the shit out of Crystal and Ruby back in the day though.

Any physical move will knock Kadabra out though.

I don't know if I can pick one, but my top five are: Mew, Latios, Politoed, Articuno, and Infernape (gen IV starters were the best, seriously).

It sucks I can't get Mew in the new games. I do have Celebi though.

If I remember correctly, Kadabra had a pretty high speed stat. I'd pretty much one hit everything using Confusion or Psybeam. If I got low on health, there's recover for that.

I don't remember low defense ever being a real problem- especially since psychic pokemon are strong against fighting pokemon. Of course, fighting moves aren't the only moves to use the attack stat but I really never had much of a problem with that.

Kadabra can take a few hits.

A single crunch will OHKO it. Crunch is a very common dark-type move. You only need a pokemon with good special defense to have it on the ropes.

Articuno has always been my favorite.

Favorite for battling though, Dialga is damn near unbeatable.

Espeon, Lucario, Ivysaur, Cubone. It's hard to pick one.
