One Night in India ("exotic" fusion)
O hai,
So I needed a new toy to play with, and settled on the Electro-Harmonix Ravish Sitar pedal. After dicking aimlessly with it for a week or two, I actually wrote a song. One Night in India Gear: Danelectro '59 reissue + Ravish Sitar AXL Badwater + Danelectro FabTone Epiphone Thunderbird IV Steven Slate drums Tambourine ![]()

Carson,
Interesting guitar/sitar sound, though it is somewhat ear-piercing for me (though I'm sensitive to that sort of thing). If it were me, I'd turn down the treble on the "sitar". Sounds pretty good, though I think it could use some vocals. Drums & percussion/tambourine fit the song nicely. Guitar playing is good, good melodies. At around 2:40, like the way it speeds up. Like the melody change at ~3:10. Perhaps you could review my music at this link: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...54#post30922054 |
