hey guys. sorry for the late reply, had to send my pc in to get fixed.
right well, I went to the store to diagnose the situation, and it turns out the rod near
the body of the guitar is damaged through long use, humidity, change of temperature etc.
he explained in japanese so I didn't understand fully but what i got was that the rod is extremely rounded and bent out of shape so there's nothing he can do, unless send it to the store in Tokyo, which will cost over 150 bucks. so I'm just going to buy a new one. it's the end of the line for this one. Thanks for all the help and advice and taking the time to reply to this thread. I learned a lot about the electric guitar in any case ^^ thanks U.G
