Holy shit. I have no idea how the hell that happened. Super hacker? I can turn on a computer and enter a URL. That's about it. Seriously. Could be a glitch because I removed posts a while back.As for the "I suggest you post this on a ****ing blog" comment which I'm too lazy to even quote, I already apologized for posting this in possibly the wrong place. Sure. If it means money and women. I'm not in it to copy another guitarist. Isn't my thing.

Its all about how much you want it
I gave up trying to be a rockstar a few years ago. I still play in bands because its fun, a couple of times my band mates have hit me up about wanting to go to Europe and playing huge festivals, or doing tours, telling me they want to some day play Wacken, or some other massive European festical. I try to avoid the question because the real answer is no, no I'd rather settle down with my wife and raise a family, you know, all that "white picket fence" shit. Its something I've been struggling with the last couple of years, its just exhausting for me you know, so much is expected, but I literally can't be ****ed some times An uncle of mine and his band opened for U2 in 1982, and he opened for Ben Harper as a soloist (also told us the story of how "Steal my kisses" sounds eerily like a song my uncle played on that same night, and a couple of months later steal my kisses was released, or something to that effect). He hasn't had a full time job in over 30 years, pretty much living the "dream", what he does have though is awesome guitar skills, what he obviously lacked was discipline I'd say go for it, I'm not trying to bring you down being a negative nancy, just putting my views out there. Its clear you have the passion, keeping things fresh and surrounding yourself with the right people with character is the way to go, but you shouldn't need me to tell you that. Just give it a go, no guts, no glory

You could try opening a thread in Musicians Talk, theres a few posters there who are semi/professional musicians.
Are you a singer, TS?

Yeah, no offense, but you're not going to make it big as another dime-a-dozen generic bluesman wannabe. There are already about a million of them, half of which are "child prodigies" anyway. It's all about supply and demand. There is a ton of "supply" for that and very little "demand" in comparison, so unless you're really damn good or 9, you really don't have any chance whatsoever in that particular area. Like if you said "I want to be a professional jazz guitarist" or "I want to be a professional deathcore guitarist" I'd say that while there is a small chance, it's at least an existing chance and therefore it would at least be worthwhile to try your best at it. In your case though there is virtually no chance whatsoever. Like basically you have about half of every guitarist ever as your competition.
