on a real note.. I loved the old vyper tube series. if they werent such problematic piles of crap they would be amazing amps.

The knobs on the vypers always seemed flaky to me, I wonder if they fixed that.

There are two things keeping me from just using the Vypyr as my main amp that I'm really hoping the II brings:

1) I need to be able to use *at least* 2 FX simultaneously. That was the major downside of the WYSIWYG layout (though I do like it otherwise).

2) It's not MIA (construction-wise).
