One Guitar to Rule Them All

Ok so the angels of SRV, Hendrix, and Cobain come down from space and select YOU (yes you, chuckle head) to accompany them on a trans-glactic journey to a planet populated with a race of superior musicians and you get ONE GUITAR you can bring with you.

What do you choose?

This author's weapon of choice is a custom Strat with a swamp ash body, SSH Seymour Duncan rig, DR light strings and Floyd rose trem (with Les Paul tone and volume knobs for an extra vintage look).

What guitar would YOU want to spend eternity with?

If it's one of my own - my Fender HH Special Jag that I've modded up. I probably haven't held enough guitars to say that I know better, but my Jag plays better than any guitar I've played (and sounds frickin' awesome to boot).

Haha, only when they start basically duplicating and you have to build a (yikes) third pedalboard. Seriously, and I use like three pedals tops at any given time.

Just one? It would have to be a Gibson black three-pickup Les Paul Custom:

Ok, well, in that case I want a Fender Custom Shop, '62 Jag in LP Blue with mint pickguard, matching headstock, block inlays and binding. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good offset.
