Keeley out of that batch.
Any reason why you want to splash that much $$$ on comressor? I'd personally go with something lower in price, like an MXR or Marshall (I got the Marshall and love it), if you need something more elaborate I'd go for Carl Martin.

Hold up! You may want to tell us what style of music you play and what other gear you have before we start throwing suggestions your way. Not only may one pedal be better for a specific style/genre, but pedals interact with other pedals, guitars, and amps in different ways.

What do you want to do with the compressor? There are several different types that will work best in different situations.

alternative/experimental/ambient/indie rock/ and a little pop punk I'm bad at placing music into genres, but bands like circa survive, the mars volta, o'brother, la dispute, portugal the man, lydia, moving mountains, thursday, etc. to be honest I'm pretty much a n00b to pedals. just started since I got a job. I'm getting back into playing guitar a lot, I spent the first 3 years doing pretty much just blink-182 covers sadly, so I'm not the greatest guitar player but I'm not bad. right now all I have is a fulltone ocd and a tu2. I've picked pretty much all the pedals I'm going to try and get (over the next year or two) boss rc3 loop strymon el cap delay strymon blue sky reverb digitech whammy 5 electro harmonix freeze ernie ball volume crybaby wah keeley phaser jhs morning glory overdrive I have a fender american tele guitar. and right now I have a vox v15 amp but I'm going to get an ac30cc2 soon Last edited by nolan182 : 01-22-2013 at 03:57 AM. |
