Kerbal Space Program
God I love this game.

You basically build a rocket and try to land on the moon.
I've easily sunk about 5 hours into this and the most success I have is that I can get into orbit around the planet - nowhere near the moon yet.

Demo available or pay for full game, if you can get into orbit around the moon on the demo I applaud you
I can't get into orbit around the planet on the demo.

I see what you mean.

I will say the download is only 100mb and you just unzip and play. No installing at all.

I bought a joystick on the strength of KSP, I've got waaaaay more time out of it than 5 hours and learned some fun maths while I was at it.

I only know of this game from Robbaz (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_MqIWxKEOg), but it looks pretty cool.

Found out about this game months ago. Best I've ever done was get a lander to the moon and back, and I put a space station in orbit.

Haven't really played since the spaceplane patch.
