So I'm looking at getting an EMG KFK set for my BC Rich Warlock. It has two volumes and a control, but I'd only be looking at having a master volume (because I never need the second volume and I don't use the tone knob) and having the preamp switch in one of the other two slots.

There isn't a two-pickup diagram for just the one volume pot, so the closest I found was this (for 1 volume, 1 tone and the preamp):



Given that I don't want the tone control, would it be a case of simply plugging a coax cable from the master volume straight to the PA2? Also, would it make any difference whether I plugged that cable into the middle two pins on the volume pot or the outer two?
