grounding problem?
I recently acquired a 1960's teisco et 220, which i love. The problem is there's a switch for rhythm and lead and starting yesterday when the switch is set for "lead," there's a loud buzzing sound. This leads me to believe that something isn't grounded? I opened it up just to see and all the wires are connected, would it be a good idea to replace the wires that are supposed to be grounding it? Sorry if this was tough to read...

the switch itself may be bad.

yes only one side of the switch coud be bad. Now I'm not saying that is the problem, but don't over look it either. Go through and check all the conections from the lead switch position to all of it's traces for that side of the switch.

everything is definitely connected, i think i'm going to try to flip the traces on the switch and see if the problem is the switch or a connection, does this sound like a logical thing to do?

i switched the switch around and now it works normally, must have just been a bad connection? oh well, problem solved! thanks a lot!
