Dang, I wish I was greeted by the President of the Pit when I first joined. Then again I probably wouldn't understand the significance of that at the time.

And I wouldn't throw money around for tab requests. If someone is going to do it, they'll just do it. If they ask for money you should probably just avoid them, because that sounds like a scam to me. Keep your money at home, we're all just friends here, not professional tabbers or anything.
