I'm not talking about capabilities, I'm talking about the way it's run; a society isn't just what it can achieve, but how it achieves it.

There is the matter of most women being viewed as weaker then men, which is true to an extent. But this should not prevent them from fighting if they want to. If a lady is able to go through all the rigorous training that military life provides she should be allowed to fight just like any other capable male.

Keep in mind I'm not saying all women.

Well, you could have said that instead of "If women want..."

How a military is run is all about its capabilities. How its run reflects what the military can do, and what the military can do reflects how it's run. So by you saying that its stuck in the 19th or 20th centuries is a bit ridiculous and sensationalist, given the power and strength of the u.s military currently.

If you wanted to deliver your message more clearly, you could have said "it's about time u.s. military qualifications become more fair/equal" yes? Because the other could be taken wrongly.

I realize i made it seem like all women need to go to war to be equal with an average male. Didn't really organize my thoughts into the right words.

A person's desire to fight is not the determining factor in whether they should be allowed in the military or into a certain job.

That's why he said they should be able to go through the training as well.

Lol you wouldn't survive for 10 minutes in Air Force BMT, let alone the Marine Corps., or the Army. Don't call soldiers sissies and ******s.

But that wouldn't give me the opportunity to sprinkle sand in the vaginas of Americans.

I honestly don't see how distraction is an issue. Men and women have always had separate barracks. Also, you can get in a lot of trouble if you fraternize with another member of the service, outside of conservatively dating them (meaning, no unprofessional behavior in public) OR marrying them.

Just about every single one of your posts is exactly this.

Obviously not but if they can meet the qualifications ,like mentioned in my previous post, they should have equal right to fight. This goes or anybody. It's discrimination ,in fact, that a woman cannot join the military despite being equally as capable as her male counterpart.

I agree with you. I don't think this should apply to special operations though.

Well apparently saying that allowing women to enlist is something that should have happened a long, long time ago is enough to get the vulva itching, why would I not exploit that?

Why?

I think it should apply to every single thing in life. If a woman can do a job just as good as man why not let her do it?

I get the distinct impression that your knowledge of special ops comes from CoD.

Like anybody on here knows any more? I agree with his sentiment, to a degree.

Please tell me why women couldn't serve in Special Ops if they were 100% physically and mentally capable?

Because special operations are out on missions without the ability to clean for months sometimes.
If a woman does not clean her Vagina every day (every three days AT THE MAXIMUM) she is at risk of serious infection which could put the mission in jeopardy.

Also, pretty much no woman is physically able to pass the special operations basic training, so waisting money/time for that is not as important as having an effective special operations unit IMO.

I thin we need (as a society) to understand that there ARE some things that are sex-specific, and there isn't anything wrong with that.

No-one else on here is claiming to know more.

And why? If a woman is equally as competent as a man then she should be treated identically in any workplace (except something like 'male actor', I guess).
