This. I don't spend a lot of money on clothes but I still think I look nice with what I wear. I'm not gonna lie I like going to thrift shops to buy clothes. The only thing I won't buy used is shoes, I love my shoes new.

Omg there are matching pants.

Throw in the sandals, and this has to be literally the worst thing I've ever seen anyone wearing.
(although the hoodie by itself isn't that bad)

I shop at thrift stores and dress like Cobain on some days and Richards on days when I care.

Come at me.

i kinda like high fashion, not the jacket in the op, but like this http://www.highsnobiety.com/2013/01...n-presentation/
i doubt anything there is over $300.

i really dig sneakers tho, and my most expensive article of clothing is my Jordans ($160). sneakers can actually be a hobby tho. other than that, i have a couple ~$90 Polo and Cremieux shirts

i wear a 10.5, but i buy 11. anyways, with Jordans and stuff, you can easily trade them or sell them to people, so growing out of them isn't that big a deal. that's what i meant when i said it's a hobby. you only need to buy one pair, and you can trade and get nicer ones that weren't available when you bought yr first pair. it probably sounds kinda dumb, but it's fun and it's a cool community.

Most expensive things I own are one or two $20 band shirts, I don't spend more than $10 or $15 on anything else and I try to only buy band shirts if they're on sale. Don't know why the **** people spend so much money on ridiculous-looking clothes.

Actually my work boots are probably between $50 and $100 but boots are different.

When I was a tween all the boys had fancy skate/ball shoes that were very frequently put aside for newer ones and probably changed hands sometimes. Straight-lacing was also a big fad. So the male-tween shoes-as-a-hobby thing is definitely understandable (but very dumb and even disgusting to me).

That was in middle school tho, it's a little weird to me that that would still go on in high school.

some of my jeans were like >50, that's it for me so yep.

yea there was a mini-riot at the City Gear right next to my work when they were released, then a week later the store was robbed blind while closed

and i have some expensive clothes but i got a good amount on sale. this one jacket i have is 145$ off sale, no way i'd pay that, but these khakis i got are 80 or 90 off sale and i'd pay that. those wouldn't be my regular pants though.

Who the **** would wear that sweatshirt in the OP? Disregarding the price, it just looks outrageous. I'm sure it's a high quality sweatshirt, but really?

Thrift stores only work if you're an extra large and have terrible taste in clothes.
