People here think $50 is a lot to spend on any given article of clothing so yeah. I think cheap clothing looks like shit, feels like shit and falls apart like shit. I spend a decent amount on my clothing and it makes me not look poor. #swag |

I think all that fashion stuff looks terrible. I dress decently, but I don't spend a whole lot of money on clothes (a symptom of not making a whole lot of money).

but why are stupid clothes actually considered 'stupid'? i mean, it's the nineties, who cares? '******ed that you would pay that much for a ___' is one thing, just '******ed ___' seems so arbitrary.
also collin you're a dick and **** you. i'm a small-medium and i have no taste in clothes. edit: oh i see the problem. you're supposed to buy button-ups and long-sleeve stuff at the thrifty store, not tee shirts. why would you think to make a tee shirt a feature? That hoodie actually looks kind of cool, but im not one to spend much money on clothing. I think that "status symbo"l clothing is ******ed, ive actually seen full Burberry pattern suits, Gucci fiats, and lots of guys wearing Gucci/ LV manpurses (not "satchels", I mean small, strapped to the body murses :|) . Brand names just plastered on clothing bothers me already... I dont own many band shirts, but I feel that most band shirts have nicer designs than just "A&E" or "G STAR" slapped on them, though band shirts usually dont fit well :P
I guess I like some unusual style in clothing but I dont really buy or wear anything incredibly flashy... I think I go for either unusual or minimalistic. I have a lot of shirts from Taiwan, some jeans, and jackets for the rainy weathe... But the best articles of clothing to invest in is socks and underwear. |

All my clothes are fairly good quality items, I find that they are generally more comfortable and last a lot longer, which means I have to buy less clothes in general.
I do however have some pretty expensive clothes for when the occasion calls for it, but they are all classic items of clothing (suits, coats, shirts), not like the kind mentioned in OP. They basically last forever and won't go out of style.

It's one thing to spend a decent amount. It's another to spend over a couple hundred (unless you're buying a suit or something). |

I'm a sucker for expensive brands, don't ask me why. Most recent purchase was a canada goose coat for £400 (Should have been £800 in my defence! Don't judge me
)

Prices here are stupidly high anyway so keep that in mind for this post:
I'm half and half with expensive stuff. It depends on the item of clothing. I have a $1500 suit, it's amazing. I have a $350 coat which is awesome quality and looks swish. Very useful for formal winter occassions. But in general clothes I got brand for low price, CK jeans for $60 in an outlet sale for example. To put that into context, full price brand name jeans here are $200+

1. That's not high fashion.
2. I spend quit a lot on clothes, I enjoy fashion. $300/month on average maybe. Don't have to much money though so I mostly shop for pretty cheap stuff. Don't think I've ever bought a single piece for more than 200 or so. |

I once paid $500 for a leather jacket, $300 for matching pants and shirt. But that was my stage outfit.
And that was about 20+ years ago. I have a pair of boots I paid about $40 for 3 years ago I'm a cheap bastard with clothes. My current pair of shoes cost about $10 at Walmart. I'm not gonna be posing for GQ anytime soon.

Well, I admit to buying some fancy underwear too, but 90% of my underwear cost maybe like $3/pair. ![]() |
