Eh, I would like to spend more on clothes, but can't really afford to. And even if I could, I never really like what I see in shops enough to spend the money. I want to dress better, but I'm never quite sure exactly how I want to dress. Also, I do feel like a lot of how I want to dress would mark me out as a bit of a knob. I love Don Draper and Barney Stinson, but reckon suiting up for university every day is a dick move.

So I like reading GQ and looking at men's fashion tumblrs, to an extent, and I enjoy 'dressing up' - which often means I overdress - but wouldn't say I really follow it.

My most expensive pice of clothing is probably my $60 shoes


I have Eagles and Flyers jerseys that cost $80-$130 but I guess they don't count

I own three pairs of Red Wing boots. They are 8, 7, and 3 years old, so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. About once a year they have a 30% off sale which is the time to buy them.

I generally wear Levi's jeans, shirts, belts, and wallets.

I send maybe $3 on shirts and no more than $10 at the thrift store

I dress nicer than most people I know and always get compliments on my clothes.




This thread reminds me why I hate kids who think that spending their parent's money on nice clothes makes them all swagged out. You could actually be saving your money and making worth while savings by actually putting effort into finding new brand name clothes at the thrift store.
