Newbie question on tempo, beats and counting out Black by Pearl Jam
Learning guitar, one of the songs we are practicing is a simplified version of Black by Pearl Jam. Simple question, how many beats are in the first verse of that song? We are playing the simplified version from justinguitar.com and the basics of our conversation boiled down to whether or not some chords in that song are played for more or less than 4 beats. Any help is greatly appreciated

sounds like 4/4 timing to me (if that's what you're asking) maybe the tempo is a little slower there but otherwise it's just the chords being played in a different rhythm.
