What is this effect? Pedal?

Can anyone tell me what effect is being used during the intro of Assistant to the Regional Manager, by the lead guitarist? I believe it is an echo with chorus slange... But one of my friends thinks it's something to do with resonance and a clean channel.

Is there any specific pedals made to create this effect? What effects is it/are they? Do I need to switch channels? Do I need an audio board? ect... please help.

I have also heard August Burns Red use this effect in a few songs, and Parkway Drive.

Here's a Youtube link for it:

Delay mostly. Maybe some reverb and a little bit of chorus. TDWP's guitar rigs are pretty simple.

Hmm are there any pedals that have that? I don't have enough pedals to want/need an audio board yet but if it's needed...

Get a TC Electronic Flashback. It should be easy to copy using it, I find there's almost too many options on it.

+1. And now that they are releasing the TonePrint editing software, you can design your own delay preset.
