Hey can we get this stickied for a while oh great and powerful mods?
I'm still plowing through the NAMM porn, so I'll comment on specifics later.

Wow, out of all those, I only like the Guild. Maybe a cheap post-NAMM season after all
Although, giggity: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news...rom_ibanez.html, a little pricey though IMO

There's a new BTB in addition to the new Premiums. I'm having trouble finding pictures to post, but Ibanez has new limited-edition 7 string BTB, the BTB 7. You can find a picture towards the bottom of this page: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/eu/news/sho...2013/index.html

Billy Sheehan needs to stop doing things.
It's a serious dilemma, Starbass or Starfire?

The billy sheehan sig doesn't look too bad compared to most EBS which ive always thought lacked tone shaping ability. The possible price jack for a sig pedal will probably make me look away from it though.
The Tech 21 DI looks pretty nice upgrade to the Sansamp. Definitely looks good. The others I havent had the time to look at. Last edited by fudger : 01-26-2013 at 12:13 PM. |

![]() A change of pace. Here's the new Kala rumbler Ubass. It has a piezo pickup matched with an active EQ and built-in tuner. Its strings are Kala Silver Rumbler Strings, which are made with a special Nylgut compound with calcium carbonate to increase density, stability, and resonance at low frequencies.

ehh I haven't really seen anything that caught my attention bass-wise at NAMM. I'm not a huge fan of effects for the bass either.

Didn't Tech 21 put out a bunch of stuff in mid-2012? I honestly don't remember if any were even for bass though. With everything at NAMM, nothing in particular has drawn my attention, though I would love the opportunity to try all of this new stuff out. |

Just an update on a few new things. To add to the hollowbody madness this year:
Gibson ES 335 Bass (not a Midtown): Fano GF4: ![]() Fujigen also showed their own FGN brand of guitars which included some nice looking Jazz-style basses.

Simply put: I DON'T THINK I CAN TAKE THIS ANY MORE.
I ALREADY WANTED A ZENITH AND A JACK CASADY AND A MIDTOWN. AND THEN 2013 HAPPENED.
