Line 6 M9 not powering up... HELP!!!
So I bought an M9 yesterday from a cash generator, and it came with an American Power supply. I went out and got an adapter to use the power supply here in Jolly old England.
Plugged the power supply into the adapter and the pedal, and the lights all come one as if the M9 is working... Good times! Then I plug the guitar leads in, and now nothing!!! It's bypassing straight through to the amp, but the M9 just isn't working! I've tried some other stuff on the adapter plug, and it's definitely not that... HELP ME :'(

I had a 2nd hand M5 which didn't come with the original power supply. It seems to be extremely picky about the power supply and it always kinda struggled with aftermarket power supplies. Did it come with the original Line 6 power supply? Maybe try use a step up transformer with the original power supply.

You need the Line 6 DC-1G supply for the M5.
I just looked on L6 site The M9/13 use the PX-2

Yeah... Ive got an M9, and a px-2 power supply...
Is there any way I can trouble shoot to see if it is just the power supply that's ****ed? Or if it's the pedal that's blown or something?

Its getting the wrong voltage if all you did was get an adapter so you can plug it into your outlet. You need a step down transformer or you run the risk of frying the pedal while its hooked up like it is now

Ah... So there's a chance I've fried the pedal? Great stuff... How could I check?
Like I said, now it's not even powering up :/

yes it would, hopefully the pedal had a failsafe built in to protect it in such a situation

I certainly hope so :/
Is there any way at all I can check the pedal to make sure it's ok? Or do I have to wait until I can get a power supply

go to your local music store and tell them you need a power suply for your M9 but your unsure if it is even working. I bet they will check it with a power suply for you.

My local store isnt amazing haha. Full of cheap copies and other crap haha
Luckily, my cousin uses an XT live (well, did.. He's now selling it) and is coming over on Wednesday so I can try his power supply. Make sure it's the supply and not the pedal
