Hooking up a drum machine in my DAW
I would like to hook up my Zoom MRT-3B drum machine to cubase 6.5, i have a midi cable but I don't know how to configure it in cubase. I have the cable going from the midi out on my zoom to the midi in on my interface already. Can anybody give me the steps from here to get it up and running in cubase? Any help would be appreciated!

What drum software? That's kind of the most important bit.

Just the basic drum software that comes with cubase. I want to use the kits in my drum machine and record them, or at least use it as a controller for doing midi drums in cubase.
