I also saw Twilight. All of them, apart from the last one. Although the 1st and 2nd I saw with friends, but the 3rd and 4th I definitely only agreed to go to impress a girl.

I myspace messaged the super hot chick in my class about how much I liked her. Then she told me she was gonna print out what I say and bring it to school to show everyone how much of a creep I was. I somehow got out of it by saying it was a dare.

I don't think I've done anything else too embarrassing, and I'd like to think I've grown out of that by now.

In middle school (I was 11 or so) I asked a girl I was friends with to talk to me after school. After school she was waiting outside, so I walked out and was all like "I totally love you, girl, so like, be my lover". She laughed and was like "uhhhh seeya tomorrow!"

I gradually lost interest and she gradually became the unsavory person she is today, so I guess it all works out. There's plenty of other dumb, embarrassing things I did, but thankfully I don't remember most of them.

I don't usually have to do anything impress anyone... I just kind of exist in their vicinity, and it either happens or it doesn't. A subtle but common trend I've noticed about guys who are doing stupid things when they're into me is that some of them will drive like maniacs, or in some other way try to show off driving skills. Especially if they drive stick. Or they'll roll fat blunts, but that's just awesome. Except when you combine the two sometimes... And that's how this guy ended up lightly hittingme with his car as I was crossing the street behind his car. We were both completely stoned and I just laughed it off. He was freaked out. XD

Not so much trying to impress her, but the most humiliating thing I've ever managed was I offered to walk this friend I had a thing for to her car after a final exam that we had together. I had done it before, so I figured it wouldn't be presumptuous to offer. Asked her where she was parked to see if it was along the way to where I was heading. She panicked and said "I don't know." A little later she asks this other guy we were talking to to walk her to her car.

I still lie awake a night thinking about the fact that a girl said "I don't know where my car is" to me. Like... holy shit. Not even really bothered by her asking another dude, but seeing her go wide-eyed with terror as she tries to come up with a decent excuse to not have me walk her to her car... I shivered from embarrassment just writing this, remembering.
