Anything else they did was overshadowed the launch of the Hellwin/Schecter amps.

They had new guitars as well, not sure on anything regarding them. The guy from Prong has a sig model now. He just touched it for the first time there. Was pretty funny.

I will post more Metal Guitars after I eat since everyone is bitching.

Well just make sure they really qualify as a "metal" guitar, after all, we know there is only one definition of a superstrat, naturally this applies to metal guitars.

Also R45VT, if you head back to the Gibson booth any chance you could get some good shots of the Zappa SG? It's the one with the Blonde headstock and Bigsby on the bridge. And if you could find out anything about price that would be even better.

I have a few pics. I will see what I can dig up. Carvin and TC had some of the busiest booths- they had people lined up for hours- nearly impossible to get in and check anything out. Shame too.

Edit: I think I pics of an 8 stringer from them.

I will check but it is doubtful. I don't know jack for the price. Gibson was very busy with all the reps and vendors. Great too see some life in there in light of the rough year with the fed. Their booth had 20-30 person line to get in.

I picked one up and strummed it a bit. Seemed high quality. I'll see if I have anymore pictures form them. They had a Samurai upper torso there. Pretty badass.

They had some japanese rockstar belting out 80's type music the whole time. Would have been right up your alley Greg.

NAMM is over. I was taking requests in the GG&A thread for more photos and info.

I am not sure if G&L was there or not. If they were I did not get any photos.



The place was huge, it was VERY easy to walk past a high profile company. I literally walked past Diezel for a complete day before finding it.
