Nobody I went to school with is pregnant yet. I consider it a good accomplishment on their part.

In my high school, we had four pregnancies, and three abortions (two by the same girl).
In college, I only know of two pregnancies. Both turned out very well, and changed the mothers from a mess, to a responsible adult. The high school ones all resulted in "Molly's with her grandmaw, lets party!".

my high school was private and catholic. i know of two pregnancies. one was aborted, one carried to term. you could get expelled for having an abortion. there were rumors another girl got an abortion after high school. not sure if that's true.
at one of the local public high schools they had so many pregnancies, the pregnant girls had a separate PE class. in college there was only one out-of-wedlock pregnancy i ever heard about. Last edited by primusfan : 01-28-2013 at 05:59 PM. |

My hs of about 3000 had maybe 10 pregnancies when i attended 4 years. one of those was my friend. All I know is those people you speak of are going to hate themselves. To just give up the next 3 years nonstop of your life is brutal and unforgiving.

16 and pregnant. Yeah theres a tv show about shit like that.
Honestly, it's whatever to me. Young kids want babies go for it, have a shitty adulthood filled with regret and drug abuse for all I care. In the end it was the screw up parents who should have been schooling their dumb kids. My high school had its pregnant teens, but it wasnt a widespread epidemic. It wasnt shunned either. Shit happens.

Lol BCTHS. In my class there were only like 4-5 pregnancies. Now that I'm turning 23, there seem to be more, but it feels a little more legitimate. People tell me that at age 25, everyone seems to get married and have babies.

Yeah but they want risky sex behavior. Shitty parenting, shitty atmosphere, shitty decisions. Yeah, they probably dont want kids, but do the majority regret their children for the rest of their lives after they have the kid? They could get an abortion or give it up for adoption if it's not a good idea to have the kid.

The girls I used to work with back home (they were in their mid 20's) used to freak me out a little talking about how badly they wanted to pop out babies. Hormones can really contribute to a decision to keep a baby or not, so during a time when the female body is going absolutely cuckoo with hormones (pregnancy) it wouldn't surprise me if a girl changed her mind on aborting a baby after finding out she's pregnant. After all, natural instinct of a woman is to take care of the thing growing inside of her.

Even the "poor and trashy" friends aren't pregnant yet as far as I know. I know this because they were the ones I was hanging out with last year. I did grow up in a pretty wealthy/well educated area though, so makes sense I suppose.
edit: I also for some reason find it relevant to state that my parents had a kid when they were pretty damn young. Two kids and over 35 years later they are still together, happy, and live a pretty damn good life. So, whatevs. isn't all bad.

It happens everywhere and your comparison to getting puppies is very accurate. I've witnessed the phenominon you speak of here and I put it down to a number of factors: A: See puppy comparison. B: Don't have to look for work, sometimes ever. Have their poor excuses for lives payed for by tax payers and have someone to look after them as they age. That's about it really. It's quite sad witnessing some of the unsuspecting males get dragged into the evil little schemes that opperate mostly of the subconcious level of these vermin/sheeple. |
