A which guitar Thread...(electric,mid range, rock, metal etc)
Hi, I'm looking for a new guitar mostly because I got a new Job and want to treat myself. Anyways Im Looking for a guitar that can do rock and metal and spec wise:
- 24 frets prefered. - H/H, H/S or H/S/S pickups. - preferably non trem - ebony or rosewood fingerboard - don't really have a preference on what wood the bodys made of. So yea not very specific. anyways heres some of the guitars I have been looking at. http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/elect...=11051911062768 http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/elect...=12050715114932 http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/elect...=12102414185127 http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/elect...=12082017260888 http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/elect...=05060813275518 http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/elect...=12101415182688 http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/elect...=09112415141429 ( to replace my broken s series) http://www.gak.co.uk/en/vintage-v10...tic-white/17938 yea so alot of garbled thoughts in there but any opinions or ideas would be greatlt appreaciated. ![]() Thanks in advance. |

PRS Custom 24 + tremol-no?
Ibanez has a range of RGs with a fixed bridge, can't recall the name of the range tho.

Try & find a used one of these, pick any colour but go for the s-duncans! http://www.espguitars.co.uk/guitars...00vbduncan.html
Best guitar around for the money IMO. Edit: You should get one for £400 if you hunt long enough. |

ESP would be a good choice. Possibly a used Jackson.

I played one of the 7 string ones awhile back. I loved the neck on it, and it had the best upper fret access of anything I had played prior to that. Probably the only LP style guitar I'd considered.

I you might like the Godin Redline HB, if you can find it.
http://godinguitars.com/godinredlinehbp.htm If you don't mind EMGs, here is the Fernandes Revolver Deluxe: http://www.fernandesguitars.com/rev...ver-deluxe.html

Ok cool.... Some left field choices: EBMM Luke http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Music-Man...2185dc3e&_uhb=1 Ibanez Prestige RG2820 (Seriously worth a look at £650...) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ibanez-RG...28a88e04&_uhb=1 Ibanez Prestige RGA121 (Hard tail Arch Top RG might go for a song....) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ibanez-RG...cf420b3d&_uhb=1 I could find more, but I just thought these might be worth consideration.
