He hasn't talked to me in over a week now. He's been weird ever since he started listening to black metal, he even has satanic stars spray painted in his bedroom. My father thinks he is just going through a phase but I've heard him yelling out bad things about Christians from his room after turning his stereo up. My whole family is Christian except for him incase you were wondering. He still talks to my parents but not often, I don't know why he wont talk to me just because I went to church ONCE! That was the first time ever. I've been having nightmares of him trying to kill me. What should I do?

At some point, a kid needs to feel that he is different than his parents. That he is an individual, special, important, and unique.

I got all into death metal when I was a teen, still am, actually. My teachers, parents, and most of my old friends couldn't understand this change.

But it was never about them, it was always just about me, and probably is with him too. Let him find himself and be different and accept him for whatever he does, no matter his path that diverges from your own (or your family's).

It always cracks me up when a kid brought up in a religious family rebels against religion by becoming a "satanist". You still have to believe in god to be a satanist. A satanist is just an angry mixed up (yet fully believing) christian.
