Taking a defensive driving course
right now for speeding. I'm literally just starting a thread because it requires little to no actual attention.

I would comment all the reasons as to why my speeding was not that bad but I totally agree with you don't think it's justifiable.

For some reason, where I live, almost all driving classes are termed as 'defensive' even though they're just normal.

I had to take a class for when I got my speeding ticket. Except it wasn't called defensive driving, it was like drivers ed all over again but in one sitting. One of the worst things ever.

I was going 53 on a street that's labeled as 40. The road is rarely full of cars (especially not at the time of) and even more rare for people to be going below, or even on, 45. It is also very straight. As I said, I'm not justifying it because speeding is wrong but if I had to, I'd have reasons.

Ive taken that class before. Some girl fell asleep and was kicked out and the whole room was filled with the elderly rofl. Apparently old people love to speed.

Ive almost lost my license before. Got two tickets 4 months apart for going over 25 mph. Had to take two shitty driving classes. Worst 10 hours of my life.
