NPD- Tubescreamer
New Pedal Day!!!
I picked this up a week ago, so I had time to play around with it.   I was going to get a Joyo Vintage OD, but this came up used for $50, so I decided to get it instead. Very good pedal, I just use it as a light overdrive and as a little gain boost, but there are many uses for it. Now I see why it is highly recommended. Only thing I don't like is the LED. If you look at it on an angle, you can't tell if it's on or not. This isn't a problem on a dark stage, but if you have an outdoor gig, then even a small amount of sunlight will make in unnoticible. Since it is so dull, I might replace it eventually. I'll probably mod it to TS-808 specs too. Overall, great pedal. Every guitarist needs some sort of tubescreamer.

nice grab for $50!!
wicked popular pedal to have modded, and when you do mod it you can get a nice LED light put in it, i agree that the stock light is kind of a pain.

How are these compared to an older MXR Dist+?
I agree that on this style of Ibanez pedal, the LED is not very easy to see. I have a CS9 chorus that is the same way. |

Modding it to 808 is pointless. Replacing the LED with one you can see would be time better spent.
