Smile ESP LTD FX Series

Hey guys I was doing some research on ESP model guitars and my friend had a picture on facebook of an ltd fx series, so i decided i should get one. Well i went looking online, and I couldnt find any place that sells them any more, which makes me think there discontinued now? I just purchased a B-Stock fx 360sm spaulted maple one, it looked fabulous, but i was wondering why are they discontinued now, they look like high demand guitars.

Ill post pictures when it arrives! Thanks guys.

How does a guitar "look" of high demand? Just curious.

i owned a 260sm from 2008. it was very comfortable to play and the pickup upgrades made it pretty killer, but i had 2 complaints. the neck had this cheap-feeling satin like finish on it that got a bit sticky as soon as my hands would sweat even just a little. my hands sweat a lot so this was more than just a small problem. second, the high e didnt fully sit in its nut slot. has to do with the angle at which it was going to the tuner from there and probably the slot not being cut deep enough.

overall though it was beautiful to look at and i enjoyed the hell out of it. i think they introduced these in 2007 and starting this year they are discontinued. along with the EX series

I still see the EX series on ESP's website, are they really getting rid of them? I mean explorers are my favorite shape, but ever since gibson stuck it's c^&k in ESP's business, I think they look like ass, so I can't say I'll mind too much seeing them go, but kind of upsetting at the same time.

yeah thats true, that weird neck finish may have just been on mine. ive played or even seen in person another FX axe. damn near tempted to buy one again anyways haha.

and yeah ESP hasnt updated its site to reflect the changes for 2013 yet. i wonder if the phoenix series is gone too? i like those but never had a reason to own one.

I just spoke to someone from ESP they said their launching their new website next week (1st week of february) (:

Looks like I will have to custom make my own FX series within the next year or two. I want to get something similar to james hetfields one, he has a paduk brown stain ESP guitar, i just dont know how i would describe the inlays he has on it, it looks awsome!

Im expecting to get my FX on the 1st here so, ill post pictures too!
