Prom
I realized that because of my early graduation, I won't be going to prom and therefore haven't been to a single school dance. Unsure how I feel about this. Poll.
Edit: Dang it, meant to make poll public and not have more than one vote.

Didn't enjoy mine. Despite being there with my girlfriend. (Now ex.) But I hated most of my school and didn't really get along very well with many people. Not that I was alone but that I just accepted that they were rather uninteresting and I let it be like that.
Proms and stuff are so damn overrated. You're not missing out on much really. Brilliant time to get stupidly drunk one last time and then never see these people again if you hate them.

Had one. Didn't go to it.
But I did go to I think it was 3 mandatory Military Balls back when I was in ROTC. It was literally mandatory. It counted as 70% of our final grade. Didn't care much for that. I only enjoyed it because I was in the saber guard and I got to swing a sword around. Ahhh swinging a sword around. Those were the days.  Not exacty a prom, but it counts as a dance too.

I hated most of the people in my year at school but my prom was actually pretty fun. Got very drunk and acted like a total prick, and for once didn't feel guilty about it in the morning.

Prom was alright.
The "Sixth Form Summer Ball" on the other hand, was fricking hilarious. We got hammered with all the teachers and then went to a strip club.

I did, and I had fun, but I wasn't the popular guy in school so it wasn't fantastic or anything. Strange thinking back to a time when I didn't drink.

Went to one at a different school (female reasons). Didn't go to mine and instead extended the after-party into pre and during party so it was basically just a aparty.

Yeah, I went twice. Once when I was a senior in high school, and then the year after when my (ex)girlfriend was a senior.
It was alright. I certainly wouldn't have regretted not going. Had I not had a girlfriend at the time, I doubt I would have bothered going. Quote:
