Basic Electronics
Hi guys, I wonder if any of you could point me a good book or website to learn some electronics. Keeping in mind that all I wanna do is make some pedals. I'm learning to read schematics and I plan to make a clon (thinking about starting with something easy like a fuzz face) But I would like to know why do you put a cap or a resistor in those spots, and why with that value and not another, are there any calculations about it?
Thank you. |

A lot of good info over at Beavis Audio
That's where I learned most of what I know about pedal building, that and you just have to dive in and learn. Just read through all those pages. Last edited by scguitarking927 : 01-30-2013 at 03:20 PM. |

+1 to beavis, there's a ton of well-explained information on his site
http://geofex.com/ is also a super great resource, though if you're just starting out some of his articles may seem a little intimidating. Still a great place to check out though ![]() |
