I have a buddy that uses a Bugera 6260 and a mesa cab and it sounds really good.
This was recorded with his amp stock (he's the lead guitarist) and the other guitarist is using an H&K Tri-Amp and Mesa cab. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nk7nT1SiwZE

I actually bought my 333 because my main amp at the time broke down. I paid $425 brand new for it. It is a pretty nice sounding amp, but it is on the bright side. It has pretty good cleans, the crunch ch is really nice very marshally. I hardly ever used the lead ch, I just was not a big fan of it. FX loop is pretty good also and it is foot switchable, works as a boost if you don't use the FX loopI have heard very few reviews of the new infinium series, but the few I have heard have not been good.

If you keep your eye out you might be able to snag and Orange Rocker 30? They're fairly awesome and IIRC they'd do everything except maybe the BMFV without a boost. Stick a tubescreamer of some kind in front of it and it'll do everything you want.

I'd go 6505 or 5150 for that. Not to tell you your own business, but I'd really avoid paying credit for anything that didn't fully require it, especially something for a hobby.

What's the hassle with tubes? Many sets can last years without problems.

I have seen a few randalls kicking about like the Randall 1503 head, guess im heading into want everything for nothing territory but at the same time I dont wanna spend a ridiculous amount of money when im not a tone head. I like a good tone but i dont like getting to caught up in it at the same time if that makes any sense??

Giving people wrong impression about their amps (*edit* lower models on HT serie that is) being all tube when they are hybrids and lately some other things. Though if that was a blatant lie/intentional misleading or just misunderstanding due to fancy marketing speech, I have no idea. People have been defending both POVs left and right. I say make your own opinion based on what they sound like, and not give a damn if someone else does not like their business practices. Though if you agree with him, thats a different story. I personally dont give a damn if its tube, SS or hybrid nor what marketing tools spout out of their mouths, only thing I care how the amp is built and how it sounds. And so far the couple of Blackstar I've heard personally have been quite impressive for their price as far as high gain is concerned.
