Doubtful. They've released all their other games, GTA SA, GTA IV, Red Dead, Bully, LA Noire, in the spring.

It's probably just not ready

Would rather have solid platform than shitty DLC every 3 weeks fixing bugs and errors.

This.

I was so pumped when Fallout: New Vegas came out. Plagued with glitches. Patches every day. It was so much better playing it months after it was released. For big games like this, it better be ready.

Couldn't stand GTA IV. Hopefully its more like Vice City & San Andreas in a sense of being engaging (not ridiculous like Saints row).

I hope the pushed back date means it isn't going to be a flat, boring game like GTA IV, where everything is made of grey cardboard and the characters look like they're made with play-doh and googly eyes.

Well, Diablo 3 took like 11 years and died in a month.

I bet they release it in November, like the rest of the GTAs. I was surprised it was a spring release.

I'd rather they delay a game/spend enough time to deliver a good game, than do what EA have done with FIFA 13. Seriously, I love the game but get so funking frustrated at the amount of bugs and crashes, particularly in career mode.

Back in the days when I was a kid and played games a lot more, FIFA '98 didn't crash ever and if a PS1 game ever crashed it was usually because the console crashed, not because the game was poorly programmed/tested.

Also, this:

I was honestly expecting it to be delayed so I'm not all that disappointed about the delay. Not to mention a PC port is probably going to take them about a year so it doesn't mean much to me.

Rockstar always pushes games back. It's been kind of a thing for them the last few years, actually.

As long as the game is good, I don't really care. I'd rather wait a few months more for a game that is awesome than have them shit something out that is busted or just isn't a good game.

I'll give Rockstar the benefit of the doubt.

GTAIV sucked compared to SA, I don't care when they release it as long as they bring back all the cool stuff they had like tanks, fighter jets and killer radio stations

Don't get all the GTA IV hate loved the new engine and in my eyes it's this generations GTA 3 so from now on they can start adding the cool stuff with amazing new driving and euphoria physics.

Not to mention now they've had Max Payne and RDR to learn from.

Will it be a tedious borefest like GTA4 though? If it is, no money for you Rockstar.

Good that it's delayed, there's nothing worse than an unfinished game that they rushed out just to get it out on the release date. This way they can work on fixing bugs and shit.

Sold IV immediately after finishing story because it had no tanks. So I'm not too bothered by this.

SA had jets gunships, tanks, parachutes, jetpacks, James Woods, mountains, customisable cars, territory wars plus more.

If V doesn't at least have tanks I'll probably give it a miss.

GTA IV still rules. Tanks and stuff? You could try Saints Row for that kind of kid stuff.
