Am I doing this right?
I recently posted a thread on phrasing and a lot recommended figuring vocal lines. I used to do that but have always wondered if I am doing it right.
For example the song "Call Me A Dog" by Temple Of The Dog. The first line is "You Call Me A Dog" which I play like this e:------------------------------ B:------------------------------ G:5--7b8(r)-7b8(r)-5--7vb/9vb D:------------------------------ A:------------------------------ E:------------------------------ (The second release is slow and the last vibrato is quicker & wider) The goal of doing this is making the guitar imitate the vocals as close as possible right? Do I have the idea clear by the given example? Last edited by satchfan9 : 02-03-2013 at 02:51 PM. |
