What if BOTH gladiators get banned for the week during voting, and whoever gets the most votes in that week gets unbanned? That way it won't turn into an insufferable "vote for me" election campaign (unless that's the point of the game). The loser can be unbanned when they send their forfeit to Jackal for verification.

Also, last time I remember there were certain options, like if you were down to video/picture, a temp or permaban, stakes, or whatever. Will that come back, or will it be same rules for every pitmonkey?

Why can't gladiator-pit be a no holds barred Arena of Death where the combatants are given free reign to flame the shit out of each other, and then we all decide on a winner, and the loser has to fight lions? That would be more interesting.

Basically what Trowzaa said, it started with Jew Chords and Represent where we voted for who we wanted to see banned (or who we would rather see not get banned, can't remember). Then we started doing more where the loser had to do something silly to get unbanned.
