How to Walk a Blues Bassline
Hi I made these videos a while ago I thought I'd share with you guys. There are two videos for people who want to learn to play blues bass lines, but the concepts transfer over to any style really. I'll also post the links to purchase play-alongs and music notation/TABS for all of the bass lines.
Here's the beginner video: Here's the advanced video: I hope this stuff helps you! -Mike Dyer |

Good shifting technique also involves not bunching up the fingers between notes, and not squeaking when you shift. You also shift too much. You can find better ways to finger some of your examples so that you can avoid 1-1-1 shifts which are never okay. Keep working on your lessons, your technique just needs to catch up with your compositional skills.

Posting links so you can sell stuff is against the rules. So I deleted your links.
