Couple of questions; Line 6 M9, NS2 x-method, mis-matching Cab Ohms

Ok, so basically I've reformed my entire rig new or less;

Picked up an NS2, M9, Dunlop Bass Wah, Laney Ironheart and a Marshall 1936 2x12 (yes, I'm now poor) and have a few questions;

I'm planning on running the X-method with the NS2, and using the M9 for modulation and (occasionally) and Octaver, so was going to run the M9 in the loop. So here's what I was thinking my chain should look like;

Guitar > Pitchblack > Wah > TS > NS2 Input > NS2 Send > Amp

FX Loop Send > NS2 Return > NS2 Ouput > M9 > FX Loop Return

Does that look about right?

Secondly, I was having a big spring clean, and found my old rhythm guitarists 1x12 extension cab with an Emminence Blackheart speaker.

The 1x12 is rated at 16 Ohms, and the Marhall 1936 2x12 is rated at 8 Ohms...

Is there a way I can safely run both cabs together? Probably putting the 1x12 at the other side of the stage for wall of sound goodness?

Sorry for the wall of text... But I know you guys can handle the madness

Signal chain looks good. I'd put the wah after the dirt, but that's just taste. I've never used an M unit, but if it makes any noise just run your amp sent to the M9 and then to the NS2 Return.

No idea about the cab.

Your signal chain looks about right yeah. Tube amps can be whiney bitches about impedance, so I might defer to someone who knows more about them on that.

Yeah, I know what you mean... Hence my queries.

My main gripe was about the cab situation, I was like 99.99% confident about the signal chain, just the cabs. Don't wanna go blowing up Brian (I have named the IRT Brian...)
