Mic has fuzzy sound
I got a blue spark condenser mic for Christmas, and the sound is really clear. The only problem is their is this fuzzy sound the mic is picking up, and I have no idea what to do. I use Audacity to record if that could be used to fix it.

Does it need phantom power? Are you recording in an area with a hard wood floor?

The Blue Spark definitely needs Phantom Power. How are you running the mic into your computer?

OK, so you've got the USB blue spark (phantom power supplied via USB cable).
So what's the fuzzy sound you're getting? Do you mean that when you record something the sound isn't that clear, or an electronic buzz becomes apparent during quieter sections, or something else? Have you got a file of the problem you can post somewhere so we can hear what you mean?

The sound is constant through the whole audio. It's sounds sort of like a light static. I'll try to post one of them somewhere, but does this sound familiar at all?

It doesn't sound familiar to me, but maybe try posting in the Recordings section - there's plenty of hardcore hardware people there who'd be far better placed to help you track the problem down.

Yep. It happens on both of my laptops.
