Although, I am already super paranoid about checking for my phone, wallet, and keys, even if I am already positive I have them. All the time. It's like a twitch.

I do. I watched that special on tv they had on last year about pick pockets around the world. They were taking belts, fanny packs, and even stuff out of people's front pockets. Pretty amazing and scary.

They showed how they ply their trade and everyone should be checking their crap out in public, constantly.

I don't check because I generally don't get bumped into, But If I know i'm going to a place where I'll get bumped into(club/pub/gay Stripclub) then I'll move it to my front pocket just in case.

i'm still wearing my badass wallet chain i used to wear in high school, and i like to think that it offers some degree of protection against regular clumsy pickpockets.

I thought I was the only one. If someone brushes me, especially in a city I check. I was in New Orleans for about 2 weeks and I ended up putting my wallet in my front pocket because I got tired of reaching back to check.

I don't have clothes with back pockets
if I do they're usually too small to put important things in
I either carry a bag or if i'm going somewhere quick phone in right hand wallet in left. Pickpockets aren't a big issue here.
