Bail increase not just. But swearing was contempt of court and subject to jail time. Then again she wouldn't have sworn at him if he hadn't raised the bail.
He was kind of rude to her, and provoking her to do what she did, but she wasn't realising the gravity of the situation, and in turn provoking him to do what he did. In summary, she could have been more conscientious of what was happening, he could have done his job in judging her for her crimes, not judging her for who she is.

Don't really like the idea of extra jail time just for that.
Increase bail if you want, but more time in jail just seems unnecessary.

The whole time she wasn't answering questions about how much money she has and was giving it attitude the whole time. The way she went off not seeming to care thinking she'd one suggested that the bail wasn't enough and so the judge upped it.
The swearing at a judge is obvious and is obviously just. The sentence given is meant to fit the person, if she'd been polite answered the question and looked like she was serious about it then she may have gotten off ok. Instead she proves she is not bothered and has no respect and so must be shown to respect authority.

I think the judge may have overreacted, but she brought it on herself. Yeah, go ahead and give an attitude to the guy who's sentencing you over here, that's an awesome idea. Then give him the finger, that surely won't have any bad consequences. So the judge overreacted, but she's also a dumb bitch.
