I never buy or listen to metal. It's by far the most fun to play though, so I play metal all the time! Usually pretty progressive stuff only though

yeah, i don't know what I'm playin but it doesn't matter in the end

Most people dont understand the appeal, it's a very specific genre...if that is modern metal you are talking about. If you dont look very hard you wont find the stuff that is good.

Just like all genres. I love some metal and loathe others.
Some of the black metal, gridcore etc. sounds like absolute drivel to me.
All blast beats all the time doesn't do it for me.
